Gourmet Events in Paris and France

Offered independently from the cooking classes, Paule introduces a new kind of tour, led by Christopher Back, whose knowledge, combined with a charming personality, is a perfect addition to the Promenades Gourmandes programs.

A gourmet walk to tempt your taste buds

Unlike any other city in the world, the rich history of Paris is difficult to separate from the food culture that has existed in France for centuries.

This innovative culinary tour explores the complex history of Paris, while uncovering the best places for food shopping and sampling tasty treats along the way. Starting in Paule’s kitchen, a lovely Paris apartment turned cooking school, the walk follows a varied menu of wine, cheese, chocolate, bread and pastries while taking in the beauty and history of the city.

From stories of 11th century knights to seeing the historic ovens of the famed Poilâne bakery, no matter how many times you’ve been to Paris, you’ll finish the walk with a new appreciation of gourmet Paris.

Duration : 3 to 4 hours

Cost : 195 euros per person

Offered Tuesday afternoons and by private appointment. For a minimum of two and a maximum of four.

Walk includes pastries, a chocolate tasting and an informative wine tasting where you will learn about pairing wines with food.

There is ample time to rest and enjoy the good food during the walk.
