Gourmet event and party planning Planning a big birthday for a food-loving family member? An anniversary? Or any celebration with family and friends in Paris? Paule Caillat and Promenades Gourmandes can organize it for you. Paule designs events for groups from 20 to 50 people, organizing cooking classes, gourmet excursions and restaurant reservations, everything custom-tailored to the occasion. She can also suggest and book hotels and transportation for your group. Paule Caillat leads a cooking class at Christopher F's 40th birthday party in Paris. A recent example: Christopher F.'s 40th birthday celebration included a cooking class and a wine tasting in exclusive venues, for 25 people. A guest writes, "Your enthusiasm and expertise made the trip so special for everyone." Contact Paule Caillat for details about the event-planning services from Promenades Gourmandes. Olivier Magny has created O CHATEAU to share his knowledge and passion for wine with English-speaking visitors in a friendly atmosphere. A wine tasting with Olivier is a unique opportunity to understand French wine better: how wines are categorized, how to choose it, how to pair it with food. You will enjoy seven different wines in an informative yet relaxed two-hour session. Olivier demystifies the A.O.C. labeling, and helps you grasp the variety and richness of our terroirs. A perfect complement to Paule's classes, the tastings are available daily except Sunday, from 4 to 6 pm, in a charming location on the right bank (not far from Paule's kitchen) No minimum attendance required but advanced reservations are necessary. Price: 50 euros per person. To reserve your place at a tasting, please contact Olivier Magny at O Chateau.
