In which language are the cooking classes taught?
All cooking classes and gourmet walking tours are offered in English by your bilingual instructor Paule Caillat.
When should I make my reservations?
We recommend that you make your reservation as soon as your trip's dates are definite. In high season, the slots fill quickly. We recommend booking your class and/or walking tour at least two weeks in advance, but your should always check about availability for last-minute bookings. Please note that we do not accept reservations for dates more than three months away.
How do I reserve a class or tour?

How much do the cooking classes and gourmet walking tours cost?

Can I pay with credit card?
Promenades Gourmandes accepts Visa or MasterCard.
Can I pay by check?
Yes, Promenades Gourmandes accepts checks in euros or US dollars.
On what days are cooking classes and walking tours offered?
Classes and walking tours are typically held Tuesday through Friday. Special arrangements can sometimes be made for weekends. We are closed on Mondays.
What is your cancellation policy?
A nonrefundable 50-percent deposit is required to confirm your reservation. Although this deposit may be reapplied if you need to reschedule your class or tour, this deposit is nonrefundable in the event of cancellation.
Do I need to bring anything to the cooking class?
Not a thing. We provide aprons, printed recipes and everything you need to prepare your authentic French meal.
What if I have a food allergy or other dietary requirements?
Promenades Gourmandes will accommodate most dietary requirements and preferences. Simply let us know when you reserve your class.
How large are the cooking classes?
Cooking classes are limited to six people, and there is no minimum size.
How much food do we prepare?
We prepare a substantial three-course lunch, so bring your appetite! Paule recommends that you do not plan a large dinner the same night and have only a light breakfast.
Do you offer cooking classes outside of Paris?
Yes, Promenades Gourmandes offers custom-designed gourmet excursions to the French countryside. Contact us to inquire about destinations and rates.
